Wine-growing area

Superb estate of 12 hectares situated at AUBIGNÉ-SUR-LAYON in the heart of the appellation.

Geological characteristic

Schist or clay - schist soils crossed by the Layon, Loire and the Aubance. Table-hands and hills are at an altitude between 30 to 100 m.

Grape variety

Cabernet Franc 100%

Colour and alcohol content

Beautiful and deep ruby colour - Alcohol: 12,5% vol.

Vinification process

Harvested at maturity, grape selection through a passage on the sorting table. Systematic separation then maceration for 10 to 12 days. Run juice only and slow vinification in temperature-controlled vats.

Tasting notes

Pretty nose exhaling scents of red berries, followed by a wide and generous structure in mouth, with good concentration. The final highlights the persistence and the youthness of this wine, which can be easily stored between 3 to 5 years. Serving temperature: young at 14° or 17°c older.
