A family story
A family of connoisseurs who take wine and tradition seriously.  Descended from a long line of wine-growers and local personalities, Edouard and Marcel Guilbaud founded Guilbaud Frères in 1927. They devoted themselves to providing and guaranteeing quality products.
A second and then a third generation have since perpetuated this illustrious mission, according it the same rigorous attention, and abiding by the family motto for taking wine and tradition seriously.
The privilege of having farnily vineyards, an intimate knowledge of the land, and of having established close relations over the years with the wine-growers of Mouzillon and surrounding areas have given Guilbaud Frères a reputation for quality. Local men, they draw upon their wealth of experience to judge, select and produce the finest wines

The history of the Loire Valley does not merely consist of châteaux and poets, there is also the history of wine.
The famous Muscadet harvested on the banks of the Sèvre and the Maine, tributaries of the great river, is the best and most palatable proof possible. Its rich origins, in terms of the quality of soil here, is the guarantee of our appellation contrôlée
The expertise to produce, cultivate and select the Loire wines As one of the leaders in the Muscadet, Guilbaud Frères have succceded in harmoniously marrying high technology with the greatest of traditions.
Through the use of new stainless steel cooled vats, Guilbaud Frères have researched and mastered the latest cooling techniques which are essential for maintaining quality and for preservation. The supervision of bottling, and especially staff who are constantly striving to do better, are also factors which guarantee that our clientele will be satisfied.
  Thus, Guilbaud Frères is offering a range of appellations contrôlées which have undergone rigorous selection.
